So I built this Dual Xeon 2620 to try and have a better MMO multiboxing gaming rig, except my 3930k (which runs next to it) seems to just be performing better. Smoother, faster, even Firefox seems to just run better... I am getting mega annoyed. Ran benchmarks today and I am getting frustrated, so some advice would be great. My overall question is, what is the issue? Should I get faster Xeons and return these? Should I buy a 5960x instead? i realize that if you compare clock speed, ofc the 3930k is faster... but frankly running 15 game clients on the Xeon is slower, which frankly doesnt make much sense. It has 24 cores, it should run smooth as glass, at least that was my hope. Any time i click anywhere on the page today, i get a popup asking me to update firefox. Leaving the page gives me a dialog and choosing to close it means i have to open up a new poe.trade. Anyone else having this problem?

I can no longer hover some of the filters at the top of the page to select which filter I desire. The only ones that actually work for me (tried on Chrome and Firefox) are the Wiki and the Events filters. Hi, Have been left feeling frustrated... that something that seems simple is also apparently impossible. Basically I'd like to look at the very earliest tweets about a particular topic, on a particular day (Several weeks ago). I have used advanced search to narrow down search results to the particular date (using "since" and "until"), but there are tens of thousands of tweets to get through before I cycle down to the very bottom. I explored the possibility of using a firefox addon which supposedly displays the oldest tweets at the top of the page - but its out of date and doesn't function. I also explored the possibility of using a third party platform to search by time stamp, or perhaps download to excel every tweet for a particular search result, but nothing doing. Any ideas? much appreciated! PS this isnt a one off so suggestions that i should just lean something heavy on my page down key, isnt quite the solution im looking for

Instead of 202 I get 400 which means bad request and the documentation tells me I have a malformed request. I remember trying Chrome in its beta access days and being amazed with its user experience and how lightweight it felt compared to Firefox. I quickly became a champion of the product and told most people I knew about it. Lately however, Chrome has gotten to the point where my 2012 Macbook cannot comfortably run my programmer IDE, photoshop and Chrome at the same time. Hell, Chrome has gotten to the point where 4+ tabs will significantly slow down my computer. I want a browser that is easy to use and lightweight. This is why I switched from Firefox to Chrome years ago. Firefox couldn't compare to Chrome's UI and speed. And yet, perhaps ironically, here we are -- Chrome has become painfully slow and Firefox has easily caught up to Chrome's UI, and Firefox feels so light. Firefox has been SO refreshing. Anyway, thank you to the Reddit Firefox users who've made convincing arguments in random threads about why Firefox is way better now. I won't be switching back anytime soon.

http://imgur.com/zsKICAU The most probable cause for this is that Battlelog doesn't have a Firefox-compatible 64-bit plugin for launching the game, since the only browsers that "officially" support 64-bit are IE and Chrome. There probably isn't anything that can be done to fix it, but I thought I'd just make people aware of it.

Brother printer MFC-J6170DW causes browsers to freeze (not responding) when trying to print to it. This is not necessarily browser specific. IE freezes entirely and has to be force closed, while Firefox will hang and eventually allows me to print. I have: Reinstalled adobe reader reinstalled adobe acrobat x reinstalled printer driver reinstalled printer suite reinstalled IE / rolled back versions (tried with version 9, 10, and 11) I can print to other network printers without issue. This one is directly connected to the PC. I can print a test page, and print from other applications like Word, Excel, etc. The only thing I cannot print from is browsers. Windows is not set to auto update, nor are any of the browsers or the printer suite. All troubleshooting has been done from the Administrator account. OS is Windows 7. All service packs and patches are current. This is my CFO's printer and pc so he can print sensitive financial documents without having to use the main printer. As such, taking the printer or trying to print from another PC would be difficult. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, Recently I've been working on a website that allows you to practice your spray control out of game. I've tried to make it feel as true to game as I could but also with aids to make life easier as you start. At this point I would be grateful if anyone could give it a go and leave some feedback on their thoughts. For example, does your spray control somewhat match what you experience in-game? Does the range/spray feel correct? This is something I had to test in-game to try to match as it increases with range. Right now there is only the AK-47 to practice with but adding new weapons won't be an issue in the future. There is also a control legend in the top right that allows you to hide the mouse/perfect paths as you get better, as well as disable sound and the weapon image. Note that your cursor is hidden so it may drift to the bottom of your screen. Simply move it near the center and press the 'Space' bar to recenter the target. Thanks!!! In my old OS I had my monitors set up so that I had one space that went across both monitors so I could have one space that was Adobe Illustrator's art window on one monitor and all the palettes on the other side and when I selected that space they would both come up. Or I would have a space for firefox with with an open browser on each monitor and if I selected that space they would both come up. Now its seems like each monitor is treated as its own space. So instead of just being able to click one space I have to click two spaces to get both monitors onto what I want it to be on. It is very annoying. Is there some preference I'm not seeing? Or is there something else I can do to fix this? Basically I want the spaces to be synced so that when space 1 is selected on either monitor space 1 comes up on both, and so on... is that so much to ask?

Should I buy a 5960x instead? i realize that if you compare clock speed, ofc the 3930k is faster... but frankly running 15 game clients on the Xeon is slower, which frankly doesnt make much sense. It has 24 cores, it should run smooth as glass, at least that was my hope. I'm on Mac. It seems there's some data that's slowing it down. Firefox is running fast and smooth, but chrome is freezing and new tab loading takes an age. I don't even have that many tabs open. I use [session buddy](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/session-buddy/edacconmaakjimmfgnblocblbcdcpbko?hl=en). It is very useful, but I hope that's not causing an issue?

So, is there a way to make site think I am using Chrome because new web WhatsApp client works only in Chrome for now and I don't like the idea of having one browser only for one site.. Thanks in advance.
