Where to watch the San Diego Chargers game this weekend?

I will be in Vegas for the next 2 weekends and definitely do not want to miss my Chargers. Unfortunately, the place I am staying does not have cable so need to find a good bar/restaurant to catch the game with sound. Any recommendations on places that will definitely show the Chargers game with sound? Much appreciated!

2014 wk 05 Kicker Projections (Gostkowski's fall from grace)

**Introduction:** Conventional fantasy football wisdom is that player value depends primarily upon opportunity/usage and secondarily upon skill/talent. I'm attempting to apply these principles to predicting kicker value. Opportunity/usage are represented by: 1. Field goal attempts per game [Team FGA](http://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/field-goal-attempts-per-game) 2. Extra point attempts per game [Team XPA](http://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/extra-point-attempts-per-game) both of which reflect the ability of a kicker's offense to move the ball downfield, the inability of the kicker's offense to get the ball into the endzone, and the reliance of the kicker's offense upon the kicking game (e.g. very long/short field goal attempts, two point conversions). In each match-up, however, the kicker's offense is only half the story and the opposing defense plays an equally important role, represented by: 1. Opponent field goal attempts per game [Opponent FGA](http://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-field-goal-attempts-per-game) 2. Opponent extra point attempts per game [Opponent XPA](http://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-extra-point-attempts-per-game) **Method:** Scoring (for calculation of fantasy points; my league's settings): * XP = 1 pt * FG 0-39 = 3 pts * FG 40-49 = 4 pts * FG 50+ = 5 pts * FG Missed 0-39 = -2 pts * FG Missed 40-49 = -1 pts * FG Missed 50+ = 0 pts * XP Missed = -1 Using individual kicker data from [2012](http://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2012/kicking.htm) and [2013](http://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2013/kicking.htm) for every starting kicker, I calculated what each FGA was worth in fantasy points for each kicker in [2012](http://i.imgur.com/IKcBAsE.jpg) and in [2013](http://i.imgur.com/xcRjoNT.jpg). I then combined the 2012 and 2013 data, weighting 2013 twice as much as 2012 (2013 = 66.67%; 2012 = 33.33%). Using individual kicker data from [2014 weeks 1-4](http://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2014/kicking.htm), I repeated the calculation for [2014 weeks 1-4](http://i.imgur.com/wztfPgy.jpg). Each 2014 game will be weighted 6.25% (1/16), so [2014 weeks 1-4 are weighted at a combined 25% (leaving 75% for the combined 2012/2013 data)](http://i.imgur.com/oxijvPG.jpg). I averaged Team FGA with Opponent FGA (weighting 2013 data at 75% and 2014 weeks 1-4 data at 25%) to predict FGA for each week 5 match-up. I applied each kicker's "accuracy" (the conversion factor from FGA to fantasy points calculated above) to predict the number of points likely to be generated from FGA. Similarly, I averaged Team XPA with Opponent XPA (again using 2013 data at 75% and 2014 weeks 1-4 data at 25%) to predict XPA for each week 5 match-up of the 2014 season. I assumed 100% conversion rate for XPA to simplify calculations in predicting the number of points likely to be generated from XPA. I combined the two in order to arrive at total [predicted fantasy points](http://i.imgur.com/94tN0P4.jpg) for each kicker, scaled the data (high score = 20; low score = 1), organized the list into rank order, and arbitrarily put them into [tiers](http://i.imgur.com/hWUFsFy.jpg) using a 'glance at it' technique: **Results:** |Kicker & Match-Up|FantasyPros Rank|VIRMD Rank|VIRMD Score|Comment| |:--------------------------------------|:-------------:|:-------------:|:-------------:|:--------------| | Nick Novak (SD) vs. NYJ | 10 | 1 | 20.00 | | | Adam Vinatieri (IND) vs. BAL | 7 | 2 | 19.70 |Dome | | Shaun Suisham (PIT) at JAC | 8 | 3 | 18.94 | | | Dan Bailey (DAL) vs. HOU | 1 | 4 | 18.29 | | | Justin Tucker (BAL) at IND | 3 | 5 | 17.33 |Dome | | Blair Walsh (MIN) at GB | 14 | 6 | 16.25 |Thunderstorms | | Greg Zuerlein (STL) at PHI | 20 | 7 | 15.98 | | | Steven Hauschka (SEA) at WAS | 2 | 9 | 15.80 | | | Graham Gano (CAR) vs. CHI | 23 | 10 | 15.44 | | | Dan Carpenter (BUF) at DET | 16 | 11 | 15.34 |Dome | | Stephen Gostkowski (NE) vs. CIN | 4 | 12 | 15.32 | | | Chandler Catanzaro (ARI) at DEN | 17 | 13 | 14.99 |Rookie | | Shayne Graham (NO) vs. TB | 11 | 14 | 14.50 |Dome | | Phil Dawson (SF) vs. KC | 9 | 15 | 13.57 | | | Josh Brown (NYG) vs. ATL | 18 | 16 | 12.94 | | | Cody Parkey (PHI) vs. STL | 6 | 17 | 12.57 |Rookie | | Mason Crosby (GB) vs. MIN | 5 | 18 | 12.41 |Thunderstorms | | Matt Bryant (ATL) at NYG | 13 | 19 | 12.23 | | | Robbie Gould (CHI) at CAR | 15 | 20 | 11.51 | | | Nick Folk (NYJ) at SD | 25 | 22 | 10.50 | | | Mike Nugent (CIN) at NE | 19 | 23 | 10.20 | | | Brandon McManus (DEN) vs. ARI | 12 | 24 | 9.94 |Rookie | | Randy Bullock (HOU) at DAL | 22 | 25 | 9.87 | | | Ryan Succop (TEN) vs. CLE | 27 | 26 | 9.10 | | | Alex Henery (DET) vs. BUF | 21 | 27 | 9.08 |Dome | | Billy Cundiff (CLE) at TEN | 24 | 32 | 6.22 | | | Patrick Murray (TB) at NO | 26 | 27 | 5.94 |Rookie; Dome | | Josh Scobee (JAC) vs. PIT | 30 | 28 | 5.68 | | | Cairo Santos (KC) at SF | 29 | 29 | 5.36 |Rookie | | Kai Forbath (WAS) vs. SEA | 28 | 30 | 1.00 | | * [Week 1 Projections](http://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/2fmvcv/kicker_projections_2014_week_1_please_dont_freak/) - [Week 1 Results](http://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/2fztl0/results_of_kicker_projections_from_week_1/) * [Week 2 Projections](http://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/2g2awx/2014_wk_02_kicker_projections_updated_with_wk_01/) - [Week 2 Results](http://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/2gj133/results_of_kicker_projections_from_week_2/) * [Week 3 Projections](http://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/2gpyvd/2014_wk_03_kicker_projections_now_scaled_from_1/) - [Week 3 Results](http://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/2h7pic/results_of_kicker_projections_from_week_3/) * [Week 4 Projections](http://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/2haah9/2014_wk_04_kicker_projections_welcome_alex_henery/) - [Week 4 Results](http://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/2hvmp2/results_of_kicker_projections_from_week_4/) **Conclusion:** There are some inherent limitations to this model: 1. These rankings rely heavily on historical data, particularly during the early weeks. 2. These rankings do **NOT** account for home/away, weather/dome, or injury/personnel changes. 3. Rookie kickers have been assigned the NFL average 'fantasy points per FGA' for periods during which no historical data is available. If part of a rookie kicker's allure is his accuracy or his ability to kick the long ball, then these rankings will undervalued him; conversely, if a rookie kicker has suspect accuracy, these rankings will overvalue him. My gut feeling is that the projected points are less important than the rank order and that the true value of these projections lies in identifying kickers/match-ups with multiple factors predicting high (or low) fantasy-scoring conditions, which are represented by the extremes. My advice is to use the following in order to select a starting kicker: 1. This (a data-driven model heavily reliant upon team match-ups) 2. [FantasyPros ECR](http://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/rankings/k.php) (an expert opinion-driven model best presented [this way](http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/sports/football/2014-fantasy-football-tier-charts-K.html?_r=0)) 3. [Vegas line](http://espn.go.com/nfl/lines) and [ELO ratings](http://fivethirtyeight.com/?s=NFL+Week+ELO+Ratings) (favor kickers on higher scoring teams and [teams predicted to win](http://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/1s2447/i_think_i_may_have_discovered_a_pattern_to_kickers/)) 4. [Stadium](http://i.imgur.com/LZl0sQH.jpg) (favor home games and domes) 5. [Weather conditions](http://www.nflweather.com/week/2014/Week-4/) (favor domes/low chance of precipitation/low wind velocity) One final consideration when dealing with frequently streamed positions (K, D/ST, sometimes TE) is bye week congestion: if a significant number of other teams share a bye week with your streamed player, you'll potentially be competing with other owners picking up bye week fill-ins, in addition to the fact that you'll also be more likely to have other roster needs to address with your waiver priority during congested bye weeks. Consider avoiding players with bye weeks 4, 9, 10, and possibly 11 if deciding between two otherwise equivalent players. |Week|Number of teams on bye|Teams| |:-----:|:-----------------------:|-------| | 4 | 6 |Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks| | 5 | 2 |Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders| | 6 | 2 |Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints| | 7 | 2 |Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers| | 8 | 2 |New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers| | 9 | 6 |Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans| | 10 | 6 |Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers, Washington Redskins| | 11 | 4 |Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets| | 12 | 2 |Carolina Panthers, Pittsburgh Steelers| **TL;DR:** * [TIERS](http://i.imgur.com/hWUFsFy.jpg) * If Novak/Walsh/Zuerlein/Gano do well and Hauschka/Gostkowski/Parkey/Crosby do poorly, then I may be onto something... Good luck!

[p1] AirBnb for home-based personal service providers (barbers, massage therapists)

Admittedly these probably need more proving, but I think they are worth doing so: **Website for Booking with Work-from-Home Personal Service Providers** (Barbers, Massage Therapists, Etc.) *Why?* There are already tons of very small personal service businesses run out of their homes serving friends or using craigslist for customers. They can be cheaper, but the trust-factor isn't there. *What?* A website that lists/maps these service providers, verifies identiy, and let's you book and pay for appointments, and then leave feedback (in both directions). *How do I know?* I've talked to a few of these service providers and friends and they are interested from both sides but have concerns about trust, which means a service that creates trust and pseudo-escrows payment could work. **Badge-Based Restaurant Guide:** *Why?* Star ratings assess a restaurant's overall quality along multiple dimensions, but if you only care about good food and cheap prices but not how fast it is, how nice the staff are, or how pretty the restaurant is, it's hard to filter for this on existing restaurant guides. *What?* A mobile-friendly website or app (since you are usually looking when you aren't near your frequent haunts) that lets visitors recommend restaurants, indicate the qualities they have, and browse them sorted by the qualities they care about at the moment. Ideally/eventually it would know who your friends are on the site and weight the results from your friends in combination with the general users, and factor in the similarities between how you and others have rated the same restaurants. *Who?* Anyone who is away from the restaurants they know (or just looking for something new) and has particular criteria, that doesn't line up with a traditional category of restaurant (i.e. not just take-out chinese). I'd start this in my local area and social network to get enough initial density. *How do I know?* I would use this site today. I've struggled with finding and choosing restaurants while travelling. Making a decision on a new restaurant takes forever. Everything on Yelp (at least near me) seems to get 3-4 stars based on a wide variety of reasons. This article: http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/can-crowdsourcing-tell-us-whether-a-burrito-is-any-good/ **Flexible User-friendly MySQL Admin:** *Why?* There isn't a generic mysql database manager you can give to clients to manage their data. There are highly specific admin tools for e-commerce websites, or blogs (wordpress), but a customer's online database needs often don't line up with these. The choices right now seem to be phpMyAdmin, which is too technical and dangerous to give a non-DBA or building a custom admin tool. *What?* An online database administrator that gives users the ability to manipulate certain areas of the data in a database in certain ways, but no access to change the structure. It should make the field labels look nice (so first_name becomes First Name), and understand the associations between tables (i.e. customers, orders and order items) so they don't have to look up which customer is 1021 and what items are associated with order 5014 with separate manual searches. It should also do all of these things automatically based on a database that is structured, labeled and commented in specific ways. *Who?* Web Developers and Database Designers who need fast and simple ways for clients to administer data. *How do I know?* I'm a web developer and I've used all of the alternatives and none of them are ideal. Clients complain either about the price of custom solutions, or the difficulty of learning and using over-built off-the-shelf tools (drupal, magento), or the slowness and technicality of phpMyAdmin. **Physical Dial for Switching IPhone Apps** *Why?* There are times when switching between apps on a iPhone takes too much time and interaction (double tap, swipe to app, click), for instance when driving and switching between music, navigation, dash cam, etc. *What?* A Dial that can be plugged into a phone that would switch apps, or do other specific things you wanted it to do, instead of using the touch screen. Ideally it could allow other items (chargers for example, or a second dial) to be connected through it. *Who?* iPhone, iPad Users. Particularly those that use their phones while driving, people with dexterity issues. *How do I know?* I'm annoyed at the time and attention it takes to switch apps. I often don't double click fast enough so I merely close my existing app. **Opera Subtitles App** *Why?* Opera's are usually in a foreign language, their plots are elaborate, surtitles aren't always provided, and even when they are, they are usually very, very brief (i.e. 1-2 lines of surtitles for 20 lines of recitative). *What?* An app that you can load a detailed translation of a particular opera into your preferred language (non-english translations can be hard to find, i.e. italian to french), that you can play along with the opera. It should move forward automatically but let you pause, catch up and change the temp. Ideally, it will eventually listen to the opera to tell where it is and display the appropriate text. The display will have to be very dark so it doesn't disturb others. *Who?* Opera attendees and opera singers/students. Attendees, particularly older ones, with poor eyesight who can't read the surtitles. *How do I know?* I've attended operas in multiple cities and of various-sized opera companies, and none do this well. My wife is an opera singing student and her and her peers have similar complaints and would use it (talk is cheap but its better than them saying they are happy with the current state of things).

REBOOT: 2015 Off-Season

**COACHING CHANGES** **Giants 2-14** Following the team's worst finish in 40 years, Tom Coughlin announces his retirement. He is replaced by Lions offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi. Lombardi only has one season as an offensive coordinator under his belt, but prior to helping the Lions become the second best offense in the NFL and getting Stafford recognized as MVP, he was the Saints quarterback coach credited with turning Drew Brees into a top five QB. As a renowned QB whisperer, Lombardi will likely seek a new QB to mold rather than sticking with Eli. Lombardi's grandfather Vince was the offensive coordinator of the Giants before becoming the legendary head coach of the Packers. **Raiders 4-12** The Raiders cut Dennis Allen in week four, but interim coach Tony Sparano was not a significant improvement. The Raiders have now chosen Texas A&M Head Coach Kevin Sumlin. Prior to discovering Johnny Football Manziel at TAMU, Sumlin was the head coach for Houston. Sumlin becomes the Raiders' 11th head coach in 13 years. **Rams 3-13** After another miserable season, Jeff Fisher is out and Bob Sutton is in. In just two years, Sutton turned the Chiefs into the second-best defense in the league. He previously served as an assistant to the Jets and as Head Coach for Army. **ROSTER MOVES** **Cam Newton** Despite yet another losing season, the Panthers aren't throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Newton signs a 7-year extension worth 121 million. **Ndamukong Suh** The Lions have signed the most violent defender in the league to a 7 year, 78 million extension. **Dez Bryant** The Cowboys put the franchise tag on their star wide receiver. **Starters Cut** Texans QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, Vikings' Matt Cassel, and Raiders' Matt Schaub are all cut. **FREE AGENT SIGNINGS** **CB Prince Amukamara** Prince has fled the sinking Giants, heading south to the Dolphins for 5 years, 52.5 million. **WR Mike Wallace** Meanwhile, the Dolphins wide receive Mike Wallace heads north to Cleveland where he'll be making far less than he did in Miami: 19.2 million over 4 years. **QB Carson Palmer** Though he held out against Kirk Cousins, Palmer still lost his job at the end of the season. He'll be heading to San Diego for 1 year, 2.9 million. **QB Matt Cassel** Cut from the Vikings, Cassel is heading to Indianapolis where he will take over for Luck's previous tutor, Matt Hasselbeck, who retired this year. 1 year, 2.1 million. **QB Ryan Mallett** Tom Brady's former backup heads to New York where he'll be looked to as a possible replacement for Eli Manning. 3 years, 9.96 million. **DRAFTEES** 1-1: Giants WR Oneal Peppers, Miami, 78 OVR. 1-2 Dolphins CB Tevita Rosemund, Texas A&M, 81 1-3 Titans FS Quentin Porter, Florida State, 80 1-4 Rams: C Garrett Vaughan, Georgia, 79 1-5: Raiders trade the pick to Bengals: LT Jose Mincy, Georgia, 77 1-6: Texans QB Marc Alexander, Wisconsin, 81. First QB of the draft. 1-10: Steelers QB Malcolm Chapman, Pitt, 84. Second QB of the draft. **QB COMPETITIONS** Giants: Eli Manning, Ryan Nassib, or Ryan Mallett. Steelers: Ben Roethlisberger, Brian Hoyer, or Pitt rookie Malcolm Chapman. Texans: Case Keenum, Drew Stanton, Wisconsin rookie Marc Alexander. Titans: Zach Mettenberger or Austin Davis. Vikings: Teddy Bridgewater or TJ Yates. **STARTING QBs** Bears: Jay Cutler, 88 Bengals: Andy Dalton, 87 Bills: EJ Manuel, 78 Broncos: Peyton Manning, 92 Browns: Johnny Football Manziel, 95 Buccaneers: Mike Glennon, 85 Cardinals: **Kirk Cousins**, 83 Chargers: Philip Rivers, 87 Chiefs: Alex Smith, 88 Colts: Andrew Luck, 95 Cowboys: Tony Romo, 83 Dolphins: Ryan Tannehill, 82 Eagles: Nick Foles, 93 Falcons: Matt Ryan, 92 Giants: **Ryan Nassib**, 74 Jaguars: Blake Bortles, 82 Jets: Geno Smith, 79 Lions: Matt Stafford, 97 Packers: Aaron Rodgers, 96 Panthers: Cam Newton, 92 Patriots: Tom Brady, 92 Raiders: **Derek Carr**, 84 Rams: Sam Bradford, 83 Ravens: Joe Flacco, 88 Redskins: RG3, 82 Saints: Drew Brees, 91 Seahawks: Russell Wilson, 94 Steelers: Ben Roethlisberger, 83 Texans: **Case Keenum**, 76 Titans: **Austin Davis**, 76 Vikings: **Teddy Bridgewater**, 78

Shot my first wedding yesterday...

So, I got the gig because a friend, who was strictly going to be a guest at the wedding, could no longer make it. So, he recommended me. I DP on a web series that he's an actor on, we got along quite well, and so I got recommended. Talked to the bride, had a wonderful chat, they had limited funds, I said no problem, it's great experience, etc. It's less than 24 hours later, and my body wants to die. I was ill prepared for this project, having never shot a wedding before. I was very upfront about everything with the soon to be wife, she said no sweat. I figured that whatever I did would be better than what my friend would have done with a handicam type camera. Not to mention, there was simply no way he would have been able to film everything, alone, while enjoying the festivities. I got a friend to help do some b-cam stuff. She's new to videography, so she was up for it. Got picked up at 1pm. Pictures started at 3:30. Plenty of time to just shoot the groomsmen and bridal party, some b-roll, guests coming in, the photography sessions, etc. We started filming at 2:30 and didn't stop until 11:30. I have worked such hours before as a DP on gigs, but this 9 hours was relentless. There was rarely a moment to sit, things were constantly happening, and the wedding planner had very little regard for moments that should have been fully captured by both the photography team and my 'team.' I shoot little testimonials from the bridal party, the groomsmen, family members, people dancing. I grab a part of the first course salad for a bit of a break. The caterers and the wedding planner didn't have meals set aside for any of us, so I had to go scrounge for us all. The thing was, once I got the salads, the speeches started, announced by the DJ, out of the blue, even without the planners knowledge. The four of us run out of the house to shoot what we can. This happened again, when everyone started eating their entrees. The caterers would not feed us until all of the tables had gotten their meals. So you can imagine that, after the tables were all fed, we got our meals and then, two minutes later (literally), the father-daughter dance started. I did not realize how stressful a wedding was on the videographers and photographers. Such a long time with almost no breaks. Now, admittedly, they had little money, and I accepted little compensation for what I was doing. I knew what I was getting into. But my god, I have such respect for wedding videographers after yesterday. Not that I didn't have much before, but I can now imagine that each wedding must present some scenario never dealt with before. Ultimately, we got good footage. I fucked up a couple of times because of one piece of equipment I'd never used before, a Rode Videomic Pro. Twice I forgot to turn the goddamn thing on because I was trying to conserve battery power (I forgot to bring an extra 9-volt... jesus fucking christ). Thankfully, I have audio from the other camera to sub in. Such a stupid thing to forget, but I've never needed one before, and I purchased it specifically for this gig. If I had to do it all over again, I would probably have the following. 2 additional camera people. Cameras that shoot continuous footage (I own a 7d, my helper has a t3i) with 2.8 (or lower) 24mm-70mm lenses. A clear schedule of times for big moments in the wedding. Monopods all around. Enough extra batteries and chargers so you're not sweating any of that. Scheduled breaks for everyone on a rotating schedule. A footage dumping station that you know will accept cards. I had no room to bring my laptop, which looking back was a big fuck up. But I simply couldn't carry it, with everything I had with me. We ended up using my partner's macbook air which, for some reason, would not recognize SD cards in a card reader, so we had to dump footage straight from the goddamn camera, which meant we were down a camera every time we had to dump footage. We did not have enough SD cards. So, yeah, enough SD cards. What a learning experience. Basically what not to do. My hat is off to you, wedding videographers. If anyone else has any tips for people who are trying to get into this line of work, I'm sure they'd love to hear them. I know I probably forgot some stuff.

REBOOT: 2014 Regular Season & Playoffs

(That's right folks...it's reboot time!) **REGULAR SEASON STORYLINES** **Washington Left Red-Faced...Or Are They?** With RG3 off to a strong start and the Redskins eager to sidestep an unnecessary QB controversy, Washington traded Kirk Cousins to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for free safety Rashad Jennings and a 7th round pick. Just one week after the trade, RG3 was injured and placed on IR. With only Colt McCoy left on the active roster, it looked like the Redskins had made a season-ending blunder...but then Washington picked up Josh Freeman off of free agency and started him over McCoy. Crisis averted. The Redskins win their division with 12-4, heading to the playoffs. **Kirk Doesn't Work** Kirk Cousins showed a lot of potential as RG3's backup...but outside of Washington, he failed to ignite. Though the Cardinals originally planned to bench Carson Palmer in favor of Cousins, but when Cousins struggled to learn Coach Arians' scheme, Palmer kept the starting job. The Cardinals finish 9-7, narrowly missing the playoffs. **King of the Jungle** Lions QB Matt Stafford was named NFL MVP of the Year with 4785 yards, 34 touchdowns, 14 interceptions, and just shy of 300 yards per game. Stafford's top receiver, Calvin Johnson, had the fourth best game in NFL history, with 308 yards receiving in a single game. The Lions lead the NFC North with 10-6, playoff bound. **Just the Right Number of Chiefs** This was a breakout season for Kansas City. The Chiefs fielded the top-rated offense and the second-best defense (behind the Bills). The Chiefs top the AFC West at 12-4 and are the favorites to win the Super Bowl. **Perfect Season Thwarted** At 13-0, the Seahawks looked destined for a perfect season. Then Russell Wilson went down with an injury to his throwing arm, leaving the team to Tarvaris Jackson who lost the final 3 games. At 13-3, the Seahawks are still headed for the playoffs but Russell Wilson is questionable to return. **Cleveland Ready for Some Football** After benching Hoyer, Johnny Football Manziel leads the Browns to a 10-6 finish. Cleveland is heading to the playoffs for the first time in 12 years. **Giant Failure** Despite fielding a two-time Super Bowl MVP at quarterback, the Giants had the worst offense in the league and finished at a league-worst 2-14. With the first overall pick in the draft, will the Giants stand by Eli Manning or begin with a complete overhaul? **LEAGUE STANDINGS** AFC North: **Browns 10-6**, Ravens 10-6, Bengals 7-9, Steelers 6-10 AFC South: **Colts 8-8**, Jaguars 6-10, Texans 5-11, Titans 3-13 AFC East: **Patriots 13-3**, **Bills 12-4**, Jets 5-11, Dolphins 3-13 AFC West: **Chiefs 12-4**, **Chargers 11-5**, Broncos 8-8, Raiders 4-12 NFC North: **Lions 10-6**, Packers 10-6, Bears 9-7, Vikings 5-11 NFC South: **Saints 9-7**, Buccaneers 9-7, Falcons 7-9, Panthers 7-9 NFC East: **Redskins 12-4**, **Eagles 11-5**, **Cowboys 10-6**, Giants 2-14 NFC West: **Seahawks 13-3, Cardinals 9-7, 49ers 7-9, Rams 3-13 **WILDCARD PLAYOFFS** Chargers @ Browns: 20-17, Chargers. Johnny Football leads a 14-point comeback in the 4th quarter, but the Browns miss the game-tying fieldgoal in the final seconds of the game. Cowboys @ Lions: 30-12, Lions. NFL MVP Matt Stafford throws for 288 yards and three touchdowns. Romo closes in on 300 yards but can't find the endzone. Bills @ Colts: 28-14, Bills. Though many were dismissive of EJ Manuel's efforts early in the season, EJ Manuel tops Andrew Luck with two touchdowns. Eagles @ Saints: 42-20, Saints. Nick Foles throws for an impressive 312 yards, but he can't keep up to Drew Brees' four touchdown passes. **DIVISION PLAYOFFS** Chargers @ Patriots: 37-30, Chargers. The good news: Philip Rivers broke an NFL record in this game. The bad news...the record was "most interceptions thrown in a single playoff game." Rivers throws a record breaking 7 interceptions while Tom Brady picks up a flawless 387 yards in the air. Nonetheless, thanks to Rivers' 395 yards plus (former Patriots) running back Danny Woodhead's 146 yards and two touchdown runs, the Chargers top the Patriots. Saints @ Seahawks: 42-21, Seahawks. Wilson returns from injury in top-form. 293 yards, 4 touchdowns. Bills @ Chiefs: 23-21, Chiefs. The best offense (Chiefs) versus the best defense (Bills) in the league. The difference maker is that the Chiefs also have the second-best defense. Lions @ Redskins: 29-7, Lions. With RG3 still on injured reserve, Josh Freeman bombs with only 174 yards. **CONFERENCE PLAYOFFS** Chargers @ Chiefs: 35-34, Chargers. The Chiefs fall just one point shy of their first Super Bowl appearance in 35 years. Philip Rivers throws for 350 yards against the second best defense in the league. Those 7 interceptions are ancient history. Lions @ Seahawks: 25-3, Seahawks. This game is never even close. The Seahawks are heading to their second Super Bowl in a row! **SUPER BOWL 49** (Glendale, AZ) Seahawks @ Chargers: 29-27, Seahawks. Philip Rivers throws for over 300 yards but falls just shy. The Seahawks join the exclusive league of teams who have won two Super Bowls in a row. Russell Wilson is named MVP with 270 yards, two interceptions.
