Operating System: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 @ 2.66GHz RAM: 7,00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 399MHz (5-6-6-18) Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. G33M-DS2R (Socket 775) Graphics: Nvidia GeForce MSI 560GTX-TI TWIN FROZR II/OC (stock OC) Storage: 186GB SAMSUNG HD200HJ (SATA), 698GB SAMSUNG HD753LJ (SATA) PSU: Xigmatek NRP-PC702 Display: BenQ E2400HD Everything was fine until yesterday, until I left my PC in idle for about 5 mins and went away from it. When I returned, there was no signal from video card. Seems like system boots just fine, POST beeps once, OS loads, video card fans spins, but there is no signal. I tried switching to different DVI port and HDMI, but it didn't helped. Then I tried to connect xbox 360 to monitor through the same HDMI cable that I was trying with video card (to exclude monitor or cable problems) and everything worked fine (so the monitor and cables are fine). I tried re-setting gpu from PCI-E, but no luck, I even tried PCI-E X4 slot. I'm posting this from integrated video on this system, and for now every part of PC works fine. I suspect my video card is dead, and I'm going to bring it to some certified center for diagnostics, but for now I have two questions: 1. WTF happened? What can cause such sudden death of video card with no prior symptoms? I was very paranoid about temps, if msi afterburner didn't lie to me, temperatures were never exceeding 70C 2. Can it be mobo problem? (I dunno what problem it can be though, if everything except discrete video works fine, but who knows..)
Signal from video card just disappeared
